26 new Woking planning applications: a 7-bedroom HMO on Board School Road, two sports pavilions, Woking High School classrooms. Comment deadlines from 5 October.

A seven-bedroom house in multiple occupation on Board School Road and two new or bigger sports pavilions lead this fortnight’s planning applications in Woking. The council validated 26 applications between 8 and 21 September. Half are extensions and alterations to homes.

Every entry links to the application on the council’s planning register, where you can read the plans and comment. The dates given are when neighbour consultation closes. The council can still take comments after that, until it decides.

What it means for you

  • If an application is near you, open it on the register, read the plans and comment before the date shown. Comments must be about planning matters such as overlooking, parking, design or noise.
  • Lawful development certificates only ask whether the work is already allowed without planning permission. Neighbours’ views on the merits do not change the answer.
  • How to comment and what happens next: see our guide to Woking planning applications.
